Good that you can do your job remotely. If mine is cancelled (for any reason) it's a loss for me. But yeah, working on getting a second remote job.
I'm coming up on 3 years being remote. My whole office went remote during the pandemic and decided collectively to stay remote. I don't technically need to be in the office since I remote connect into all of my servers anyways. We used to still have to work if the office was closed due to weather. That changed this winter. Apparently people complained or said that it wasn't fair? 😆😄😄
You chose wisely what to learn. Now you can work with it remotely too. Enjoy the freedom.
