Ramzan Kadyrov, the dictator of Chechnya, released a video showing two Tesla Cybertrucks modified with .50 M2 Browning machine guns. The Chechen dictator stated that he will send the vehicles to support Russia's invasion efforts in Ukraine.

They’d be better off having Israel send them some pagers and cell phones.
The stainless steel sides probably do provide a little more protection against shrapnel relative to other pickups, but they should probably at least partially cover the massive windows with some protection.

also, new kind of infrastructure attack would be shooting thermite rounds into the battery to make it start burning
The stainless steel, yes, slightly. It withstands 9mm, but not higher velocity rifle rounds. It will probably do OK against shrapnel from artillery rounds.
