Meme game 🔥

Strippers and Containership's.

Sounds like a party.

What's the correlation to the overall economy

Smol brain here

Inflation risk via supply-side limitations.

If container ship rates go up, then the cost of shipping everything that relies on those ships for transport goes up.

If the cost of shipping things goes up, then that cost will be passed on to the consumers (a.k.a: you).

If the costs to consumers goes up, then the CPI should go up (BLS shenanigans aside, of course).

If the CPI goes up, the that means inflation is not being 'tamed.'

If inflation is not being tamed, the Fed is less likely to cut interest rates any sooner.

Or - exactly what Lyn said.

And if interest rates stay this high for much longer?

Stand the fuck by...'cuz it's gonna get wild...

Great breakdown. Can't zap u

Yup….just another nail in the coffin of the “Fed will lower rates in 2024” narrative.

I’ll take the over on 5.50 for the 2yr by labor day. Any takers? Lyn?

High prices are addictive

so that's why my container equity has been ripping

Oh no
