😅🤣 Over the past year+ there have been repeated instances of existing users here creating multiple fake user profiles for either scammy purposes (to try and get zaps), to manipulate conversations about particular topics, or to impersonate people from other platforms. We had a few where people would use a real profile pic and bio from someone's IG account and pretend to be them. It's jaded me quite a bit about new users and I'm especially skeptical when I hear new users talk about certain topics like onlyzaps. But if you're the real deal, then hopefully no hard feelings 😬 Welcome to nostr. It really is a great place. 🤙
