There are some amongst us who engage in mental gymnastics when "pro-Bitcoin" politicians like Trump rugs us. Trump's career of scamming and scheming is ignored.
They rationalize it after the event, by arguing that Bitcoin transcends any individual or ideology, focusing on its universal appeal when the shit hits the fan.
