I think what I'm going to do is migrate the whole stack to my regular debian server and scrap the whole startOS install. It's in an old PC case, and I can swap out some parts and remake it into a better home server or something. Maybe a remote windows machine so I can stop dual booting 🤔
I've been disappointed with my Start9. Thank God I didn't spring for the Pure. Running knots and the filter thing just fine, but I'd wanted it to be our home server with its 4TB SSD. Other apps unusable for me. Actually considering going back to umbrel. 🤷🏼
Yeah it's not exactly a Home Server just yet. It runs apps that are custom packaged for it, but that's it. It can run a Bitcoin Lightning stack, but so can I, with less overhead. So I'm just going to decommission mine.
