Dinner tonight: Steak & Brie
Barbecuing this time of year may be cold but I just heard the cutest thing. There’s a big group of kids going door to door singing Christmas carols. My first time ever witnessing this in person. Can I stay in this Hallmark movie a little longer?! 🥰🎶
There is zero reason NOT to grill year round. I just grilled our steaks in the pit last night. We're rural so no carolers for us but congrats on your Hallmark moment!
My thoughts exactly… some consider barbecuing only a summer thing. That’s a pretty sheltered way to live if you ask me lol.

I have a brick fire pit so get to build nice fires then pull coals to grill. I really like grilling while it's snowing. There's something super primal about it despite being feet from the house.
Here, it's below freezing (with a RealFeel™ of -25 F). I doubt any of that would be happening if it was that cold wherever you are 😅
I’ll keep you posted!! The cold doesn’t stop me. I’ve gone ice fishing in -40*C for fun and we didn’t leave until we all had our limits of lake trout. 😊 I’m not like most girls! 🙃

I think a lot of it comes down to how someone is raised. If they spend lots of time outdoors regardless of the season, they learn to dress and adapt to the temperature and become resilient.
