Central Iowa staple. Cinnamon rolls and chili. Yes you actually mix the bites and it’s incredible. Homemade sourdough cinnamon rolls and chili made from mostly things we grew and canned. Mix of locally shot deer and locally raised beef.

Interesting… haven’t figured out if pb and chili is regional or if my school was just weird. I have heard of cinnamon roll + chili but thought it was a northern thing. Never had it myself but makes sense. Lots put brown sugar in chili

Just made chili with brown sugar, but this... is a higher level.

This hasn't reached eastern Iowa yet lol. I was introduced to it at a Runza when I lived in Nebraska.

I'll bet this tastes great, I'll try this soon. I have actually added cinnamon to my chili for years, it makes for a great flavour.
