Leftist is a very general term (which I don't like) that tries to cover many ideologies and makes it difficult to group them all, even more so when it comes to forms of anarchy... but it understands what you mean and it's true
People who are admittedly more well-read than me tend to focus on political means of emancipation. However, I think they have a huge blind spot when it comes to technological means, especially the ability to provide humanitarian lifelines and building coalitions that are rug-proof against ruling classes. I'd like to see 10,000 Rojavas bloom, and freedom tech can play a role in getting there.
Also, all of my favorite Marxists are anarchists and libertarian socialists, I think that authoritarian Marxism (Trotsky, Lenin, Mao, etc.) are all traps
