When did Strike start charging a fee for debit card deposits?

Hidden fees 👀
They’ve always had a small spread that essentially constituted an unspoken fee but this is new and not hidden 😅 I noticed it when I was about to add some dollars to my account and it said there was a fee added. Never seen that before. Getting funds into the account has been free up until now.
Cool 😎
Couple days ago and it’s brutal. Rugged.
Yea. Not paying 2% just to add funds to my account. Lol
Same behaviour of all orgs when they get too big. They think they can get away with it, they try it on, then they eventually succeed andwmore fees become a part of our lives. But not us bitcoiners

I did a bank deposit on Strike and it took a week to clear. Totally useless for me. CashApp is not bad.
Yea CashApp probably will be my primary way now. I’ve alternated between them and Strike. I like the ability in Strike to pay directly from USD to a bitcoin or lightning invoice, but i always like to move the funds into the app at the time of the transaction. I don’t leave a balance in Strike. This makes it less usable for that approach.
I like Cashapp 🎉
Last Sunday I think. The free ACH option needs a week to settle.
Between Strike’s new debit fee, huge spread on buys and opaque miner fees when using the pay option, I’d much rather use Cash App.
Can’t even imagine what it’s charging for miner fees today, what with the mempool being what it is…
Well, the free instant funding was nice while it lasted lol.
