The IRS has a long history that shouldn't exist.
The IRS has a long history of keeping tax information confidential. But a new data-sharing agreement with ICE breaks that precedence and betrays the trust of immigrant communities in ways that could bear consequences for decades. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2025/04/irs-ice-immigrant-data-sharing-agreement-betrays-data-privacy-and-taxpayers-trust

Agree we should ban the IRS, expel the illegals as a sign of respect for the legal and terminate welfare forever so the USA will be again the land of opportunity and not the land of socialism
It's much better to just give the productive peaceful illegal immigrants a simple path to citizenship than it is to go around ripping them and their families out of society. That's what this country is supposed to be.
Well it is what they are doing. People that understand they did the wrong thing trying to enter illegally can self deport and are given the opportunity of reenter legally instead of being banned for 10 years or more. Being peaceful is good but not enough. You should be respectful of the rules of the country where you want to move. I live in a foreign country and this is my third one. I ask, follow the rules, and accept the request of the place that hosts me. Still there are plenty of places in this planet were I will not be able to move because being nice is not enough.
Be that as it may, I don't support ripping people out of a country that was designed to be a refuge for people who want to be free and work. I agree that they should have came here legally, but most Americans probably couldn't stay here if they had to meet the same standards. We should reform the legal requirements and give the illegal people here an simple way of righting their wrongs. Just kicking them out is inefficient and unproductive. It'll also undoubtedly lead to abuse of American citizens when the inevitable "show me your papers" shit starts.
All starts with welfare. If people were coming to find freedom and safety I would agree but most came because they can get free money and a treatment that is not even given to the citizens in poverty. That upsets people. While it's ok to help, it's not ok to refuse assistance to your people to help others that probably would have never helped you. We should thank for this horrible situation all those politicized NGO's that brought people for a purpose and that purpose was not to help them. Now the honest good people are paying the price.
Ending welfare and the handling of people who are living here illegally are two separate things. You're making it a binary issue. It's possible to do both things. And I haven't seen convincing data to support what you're saying.
