What to say to a friend from Pakistan who thinks that Bitcoin is now just a way for the US to rugpull the world? He thinks it's better to buy gold now.
It seems US government aligning with Bitcoin is turning away people who are wary of the US.
This is a very kind, peaceful person that I would never say "HFSP" to so I wish there was some resource to point to that he would trust.
I too have considered this possibility. It is possible that with a strong enough quantum computer. Bitcoin would be an historical rug pull that would be used to implement stablecoins for dominance.
That is why I hope for the best. Prepare for the worst. That is why 50/50 is the way to go.
50% Income and savings dedicated to Bitcoin.
50% Income and savings dedicated to physical precious metals. Like gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and copper.
That way whichever way this coin of fate gets tossed. I am still going to be alright with the outcome. I wont loose everything of value.
At least I can say I put my faith into the only sound currency I believe in.
If that turns out to be a mistake. So be it.
I am at peace with this decision.
