Spreads used to be wide on btc. They will tighten over time. The 30% is a foothold in ease of onboarding people to freedom tech. If the market demands it, they will seek it and bypass apple.

With the way the UK keeps blocking Bitcoin adoption, I wouldn’t be surprised if I lose close to 30% on a regular buy anyway. Couple that with the hassle of jumping through hoops having to convert currencies, moving through different platforms etc, it takes up a lot of time and effort.
Honestly, if it’s just for a zap wallet, this sounds like a smooth experience and I wouldn’t mind losing the 30% to just be able to top up small amounts.

You can send to another wallet, would be my guess. Probably not designed with the typical wallet concept of withdrawing in mind though.
