In all of my visits, I've rarely had anything but the unsupported arm method which leads to the most inaccurate readings. Anyone want to guess how many millions of people have been put on unnecessary drugs because of this?

"A study led by researchers at Johns Hopkins Medicine reveals that the way a patient’s arm is positioned during routine blood pressure (BP) screenings can lead to significant overestimation of results, potentially contributing to the misdiagnosis of hypertension."

Too many! And rarely do you get a standing and sitting BP for comparison either.
