Part of me is a hypochondriac that thinks everything is me dying. But the bigger part of me is always like I'm fine and never goes to the doctor. But I'm starting to wonder about something:

I'm only eating once every 2-3 days lately. I literally don't get hungry for days. Am I good or is something wrong with me?

first thought: a cocaine, amphetamine, booze, and bull market cocktail is one helluva drug

second thought: it’s weird not to feel hungry at all if not eating for 2-3 days at a time…can be many things (mh related-depression, mania, etc. / endocrinopathy related - thyroid cooking, etc / several other things) and bruh should get checked out & get some basic bloodwork done

I didn't mention that I'm bipolar. Might just be a phase but really I've been trending this way towards eating less and less for the last few years. Even when it was just one meal a day I thought it was healthy aging. But the last couple months or so I've been starting to skip more days. I might snack a handful of nuts or a little jerky but no real meal for a couple days lately. My last meal was Monday and I'm not hungry this afternoon but I'm thinking I should just cook some meat tonight and eat it. I take a really good multivitamin, but only when I eat a meal. I also put heavy cream or butter in my morning coffee so I'm getting some decent calories there. I drink a whole pot of coffee most mornings.

Maybe you managed to get blood glucose and insulin under control and your body is running on free fatty acids from adipose tissue? A blood ketone monitor would help to know. If you aren’t losing muscle, have body fat to spare, and feel good, I say bully for you!

That sounds a bit like gastroparesis?

Got get that blood work done playa! Get it checked for everything and move on.

“GO!”

That' s not how blood tests work

If you’re eating lots of protein and animal fat, shouldn’t be a problem in and of itself. Just imagine you were killing everything you ate, 10,000 years ago. A couple lean days of hunting and foraging could be the same.

Protein and animal fat is pretty much all I eat when I do eat. Sometimes a little carbs like potatoes because those don't bother my digestion.

Probably something is wrong with you maybe you should go for a medical check up
