My brother in law got and used some of theses about a week ago. I had no idea Amanita Muscaria was legal in the US (except LA). I knew about it since I was a kid but I swear it used to be illegal. Anyway, I had thought about therapy with psilocybin at one point and I wonder if this could have some similar benefits, psychologically. Depression? Anxiety? PTSD? Emotional trauma?
His experience was very positive. He said he just felt super happy

There are some similar benefits, but not from a familiar experience. Amanita muscaria has never been a controlled substance in the US (unless it was some local government).
I've heard one comparison to be "psilocybin shows you what you need to know, muscimol shows you the direction to get there."
