Bhutan has a third of ES GDP yet they have twice the bitcoin.

Why is everyone cheerleading for ES and not Bhutan??

Bhutan is staying humble and stacking sats.

El Salvador is publicly dunking on the IMF.

I'm a fan of both, honestly

Not as ~sexy~

Fair point. Does Bhutan have good policies towards citizens who want to hold and trade Bitcoin?

BHUTAN IS QUIET ABOUT IT.

ONLY REASON WE KNOW THEY HAVE BEEN STACKING IS BECAUSE A SURVEILLANCE FIRM DOXXED THEM.

Even more impressive

They clearly understand the game theory

I don’t even know what continent they are in

Quiet is the Buddhism spirit 🙏

Bhutan stacking sats in stealth mode while ES is out here doing victory laps. Real Gs move in silence… like monks with mining rigs.

+1

Because grift

Oh I am! 🇧🇹

Guess it's time to visit Bhutan? A friend of mine recently help make this happen...

Nostr event in Bhutan? 👀

Sounds like it’s work a visit!

.. or “worth” 🤦‍♂️

Now that's something I didn't know. I had no idea Bhutan was in the game.

I know lots of people cheering for Bhutan. However, travel to ES is much easier since they are more local. Local always gets attention over far away places. I would be interested to know more about how Bhutan is encouraging bitcoin adoption among their populace.

Because Bhutan is not running a psyop to get bitcoiners to move there and build up the economy. Without bitcoin, El Salvador is fucked. Just a narco state with a large former prison population. Bhutan is one of the best preserved Buddhist countries that largely fell outside communist influence. El Salvador needs this whole bitcoin economy thing to work. Bhutan will probably be fine either way.

ES is a psyop

While I’ve heard of Bhutan mining and holding, I’ve never heard of them trying to apply and use it in their every day economy like people were excited to El Salvador do. I think that’s the main difference was the (known) attempt to actually use it.

We are on a race to accumulate as much bitcoin as possible. Using bitcoin comes after accumulation.

Bhutan is playing to win not to larp about making bitcoin legal tender

I have no problem with that perspective. I was just giving you a possible answer to your question lol.

Bhutan isn’t make a scene about it

Well… until recently they had btc as their currency 😮‍💨
