I probably would if I had to find a place for some trapped fiat. GL

I don't know that I'm going to buy anything but, for me, this is the most important announcement in bitcoin in a long time.
Why you think that? 42k BTC is a nice chunk, shoots them up to 3rd place corporate holder. But just another MSTR sized buy at the end of day.
Is it more to do with snowball effect that will follow?
It's the signal, the constellation of people/companies involved, their separate connections to the broader financial world and respective histories with same, and the profound signal of its immaculate conception, they are not a zombie company climbing onto the bitcoin arc, it is being born from a great orange womb.
Ah yes, does seem that way to me a bit too. Cantor involved makes it as close to trump approved as could be I would think. And SoftBank involved too, that's Japan? I only caught bits of news from podcast. Very bullish
In many respect Mallers is ahead of Sayloy being Mallers has the banking piece in place via Strike…
And of course the whole Tether relationship is not a small thing. In particular given the favor Tether has recently with US govt
I remember Lutnick saying he was going to get into Bitcoin financialization. I wonder if this is what he meant.
Jack M said on his podcast Monday that this is the biggest thing he has done in his life. It feels as if it’s good for the lay person to opt into the Coin, sort of a “no-suit-required” MSTR/STRK
It’s the biggest news I probably won’t buy any but it’s the loudest signal I’ve heard in a while
Not feeling so overexposed anymore I take it? 🤭
I've gone from hypervigilant to depressed as is custom
Been listening to Jack podcast last couple months. His macro analysis has been on point imo, and more importantly easy to understand.
Absolutely no BS with JackM, or JackD FTM. Both no-suit sensibilities. I do miss his sidekicks Dollar Bill and Dyl, but it always must move to the next level and be Jack’s oeuvre only. And now I understand the de-coupling from his wingmen.
The only trapped fiat I have is in MSTR, which is just OG XXI. I dunno if I'd actually swap it.
Assuming no tax for moving it (retirement money) it is tempting, I bet. Jack has some tricks up his sleeve methinkst
Yeah, no tax for moving it, so it's really just opportunity cost.
I'm not a risk manager, but I know not to buy a thing just because it's shiny and new. If it's still around in a cycle it's worth a buy.
