If i were you i would not use this in any conferences or meetings with devs/hackers if you dont want to be hacked!

It's exactly my opinion. They've been telling everybody. Shut off your location, shut off your Bluetooth. And now because this fucker is telling everybody to turn it on, everybody's leaving that shit on these billionaires need to go fuck themselves.

Fair point. I like the app but sneaking in a geofencing feature in a privacy branded app is โ€ฆ weird

Jack is not our friend. Remember that.

I have an opinion on that but Iโ€™d like to hear yours. So why?

Because he sold his soul to the feds. Once you work with the feds, the feds, don't just let you go live. Your life after that, Jack is a fed. Little rich people that live in Nice houses. Don't realize this because they're not in the trenches. When you're in the trenches, you understand that once you work for a fed, The Fed doesn't leave you alone, right? Never, you will always be an asset to the feds.

Makes sense. That line of thought leaves you paralyzed or paranoid though because everyone could be bought or coerced by the feds. And which Feds anyway. Thatโ€™s why I try to judge actions not (assumed) motives.

But even if he is well intended some of his past actions werenโ€™t helpful: Twitter, bitkey,โ€ฆ except for / up until the geofencing I liked his bitchat initiative though

I mean, whoever uses bit key, let's get right down to the nitty gritty, put all technicals aside, whoever has bit key, he has your keys period plain and simple, i will never tell anybody to buy a bitkey

And he's a liar, he stole Twitter.

Did he?

When you dig and you're not biased, you come to the conclusion that shit, it points to that he stole it.

When you're a billionaire and you do stuff with your money, it's easy to confuse people.

Itโ€™s always easy to confuse people. Most confuse themselves already. lol. Youโ€™re right though. Money helps shaping opinion and guiding action.

Privacy branded app? ๐Ÿ˜‚

Yes heโ€™s positioning it as such donโ€™t you think?

He positioning as such dont change the reality that this app is a honeypot for conferences

Fair point

They all like to suck jack's dick, funding must go on.

Bluetooth is the most unsafe network a phone has, letting it o, its the easyest way to get hacked.

Everyone that takes safety seriously not use this kind of stuff.

Bluetooth should always be off, anyway.

In my laptop i even have the modules deactivated ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Same. Hardwire everything.

Yeah seems strange to have Bluetooth communications, Bluetooth is known to be unsecure and has been known for a very long time. I don't understand all the hype about this app if I'm honest.

Funding must go on, if they dont do what jack says funding denied ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Jack is an intelligence asset like many Bitcoiners these days. I would be very sceptical about the influence he has in the space.

Once s FED always a FED

Only when the system changes can some of the people that got caught in the matrix be released.

And even after that some might prefer their old way of thinking.

We can only build upon those who are freedom seekers that are not yet captured.

you can implement secure comms on unsecure channels. obviously this is the paradigm we live in. or you mean turning on bt at all is the security risk?

Having bt on is the security risk, bt the most unsafe module you have in your hardware

still suffering from OBEX vulns?

Yup

New Vulnerabilities: In 2025, several new vulnerabilities have been reported

CVE-2025-32875: Insufficient authentication during Bluetooth binding, allowing unauthorized devices to connect during initial setup.

CVE-2025-32876: Weakness in the encryption process during Bluetooth handshakes, particularly in certain Android environments.

CVE-2025-44559: A Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability in the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) stack, allowing attackers to disrupt services by sending crafted packets.

Screams security and privacy nightmare.

But then Bitcoin maxis are not known to be the smartest when it comes to opsec.

Thats truth, they dont even know the basics ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
