Happy to hear.
Nice collection of guides btw! Keep em coming.
I’ve gotta get back in the game too 😄

Thanks Tony! Any tips for getting more readership? Long-form notes getting much less engagement than kind-1. I think due to less clients support. Should we cross post a slug as a kind-1? Or something else?
I used to do that when I was more active with writing long form posts. But back then kind-1 clients didn’t display long form posts at all.
I actually stumbled upon yours via Damus. And since Damus and Amethyst are probably most used, it won’t make that much difference. I guess it’s more about follower base generally.
I’d research the hashtags newbies might use, like #welcome, #guide etc. and add those to the posts. Cant remember if obsidian lets you do that though.
You could also reach out to the long form platforms devs as well and see if you could get into their featured posts category or maybe they could provide other suggestions to raise discoverability.
Solid recommendations! Thanks!
Cheers. Looking forward to your guide on setting up own relay. Never got to dive into that except for spinning up a private relay with Umbrel. A basic guide for noobs is very much needed imho.
I’m running an educational website with Nostr comments enabled and at the moment I’m using https://nostr1.com thanks to nostr:npub10npj3gydmv40m70ehemmal6vsdyfl7tewgvz043g54p0x23y0s8qzztl5h ‘s generosity. It is a great way to connect your local community via #Nostr, but I should really spin up my own relay.
Additional thought. Does anyone publish any stats of which clients have which market share and which NIP support?
Didn’t run into any. You could somewhat research this on app stores by comparing number of downloads, but that won’t be really accurate.
Would be nice to have something like this, but I guess devs do not really share this kind of stats.
For general stats check out https://stats.nostr.band it’s got some interesting stuff, particularly relay popularity.
