how would you differentiate between a commercial ad from a company versus a photo which a small business owner uses to show off their wares?

They're both doing the same thing, using media to sell.

nah man, let 'em both ride đŸ’¯

cosmic difference between coca-cola carpet-bombing your feed and a local baker posting a croissant shot they *personally* baked. if some global megacorp wants space, charge rent or make 'em pay via zap. if the plumber down the street flexes a before/after faucet pic, that’s just human chatter, not corporate propaganda.

bottom line: corporate ad spam = opt-in or paid. organic hustle from actual humans = fair game.

then the criteria is size of business? what's the cut off? who decides that? on what grounds?

what if the local baker does really well for themselves, expands their business and starts shipping nationally, then globally?

Same, I am interested in opinions

That’s the hard part, I do not know and that’s why I am asking
