😂 maybe don’t come then
Discussion
Or is that just a ruse🤔.
Come to just hang and chat, and "rail" (watch others play)
CAREFUL. He’s chatty and cockney 😂🫂
COCKNEY😳. I beg your pardon😮.
I'm a Northern boy, I most certainly am not "A Cockney". SMH!
Well you have some sort of strong accent 😂😂😂
Scent as well, or so I've heard
Oh undoubtedly 😂
I don't fucking smell. Jesus Christ😤.

My "Scent". GFY.
As the kids say

YODL, neither of us got past 30 pages of Ulysses, we're both winners and smell beautifully🫂.
We saw past Ulysses*
🤝🌹💐
We did indeed, the incomprehensible Irish prick🥳.
Ohhhh, lemme use words borrowed and reconstructed from dead tongues, I'm so deep. GTFO
quod erat demonstrandum.

Still, she's had a lie in too. It's disgusting, I expect a full debrief of James Joyces' Ulysses, AND the correct #Wordle answer, in two. Pfffft🙄.
Not much to ask nostr:nprofile1qqsd9pqnwyshrse7z975h5ynptq9ktz3kv8txqs7lr20zgelqtys52cpzemhxue69uhkummnw3ex2mrfw3jhxtn0wfnj7qg3waehxw309ahx7um5wghxcctwvshszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz79h8t59, no?
Not familiar with "lie in", but took from context she's due to pull her weight
A "Lie in", is when you would stay in bed, beyond your natural working week "Getting up" time. Fuck me nostr:nprofile1qqsd9pqnwyshrse7z975h5ynptq9ktz3kv8txqs7lr20zgelqtys52cpzemhxue69uhkummnw3ex2mrfw3jhxtn0wfnj7qg3waehxw309ahx7um5wghxcctwvshszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz79h8t59🤦🏻♂️, you're supposed to the the future. Le cremè de la cremè. gOD BlEss aMEricA🫡.
I did have a lie in!🙂
Never read Ulysses. Maybe one day, if only to read 30 pages and join your illustrious club.
Wordle done. Waiting on nostr:npub162zpxufpw8pnuytaf0gfxzkqtvk9rvcwkvppa7x57y3n7qkfpg4shatdhy to post his. 🤓
I think i got to 32 pages, nostr:nprofile1qqsd9pqnwyshrse7z975h5ynptq9ktz3kv8txqs7lr20zgelqtys52cpzemhxue69uhkummnw3ex2mrfw3jhxtn0wfnj7qg3waehxw309ahx7um5wghxcctwvshszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz79h8t59, roughly 20. If you can get to 40+, you'll have an honorary Ph.D from us🫂.
and I had cliffs notes I bought concurrently
And STILL fucked it off😮.
With training wheels😬😂.
The problem I have with Ulysses is that I would want to read Homers Odyssey first so that I could kind of get where Joyce is coming from.
Maybe one day when my TBR pile is very small and uninteresting.
There is no "Getting where Joyce" is coming from. It's like trying to decipher The Enigma Code🤷🏻♂️😂.
Fun fact: I’ve been to the James Joyce Centre in Dublin. It was interesting!
But you was too scared to pick up any of his books in the gift shop😬😜?
I was tempted but I would have had to lug it around with me for another month of travelling.
You really wouldn't. You'd have binned them all by then time you got to Belfast😬😂.
🤣
If I ever find myself back in Ireland, I promise to read at least 40 pages of Ulysses!
You have piqued my interest now. I was discussing books with nostr:nprofile1qqsd9pqnwyshrse7z975h5ynptq9ktz3kv8txqs7lr20zgelqtys52cpzemhxue69uhkummnw3ex2mrfw3jhxtn0wfnj7qg3waehxw309ahx7um5wghxcctwvshszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz79h8t59 earlier. I have probably 500 books on my shelves, mostly none fiction. What's your bag, madam🤔?
Self help books
I'm beyond "Help".
Biographies, Auto Biographies, current affairs, drugs, history, politics, economics, psychology, spiritualism, et al. A broad church🙏🏻.
Is it unhealthy to have about 50 books on drugs🤔. Runners, addicts, pharmacology, chemistry.....🤷🏻♂️😂.
Fiction 55%
Non-fiction Health, Wellness, and Woo (I like my mediation and mindfulness journeys) 35%
Non-fiction other (biographies/politics/history etc) 10%
I've only just started doing this but have you ever listened to low Hz binaural beats on your headphones 🎧 🤯??
Also, I'm just about to go to sleep now but I highly recommend you read "Stalking the Wild pendulum" by Itzhak Bentov. Thank me later🙏🏻.
How low?
Anywhere between 4-10Hz, which I know is inaudible, so what they do is play 2 sinewaves at say 108Hz and one at 112Hz one frequency in one ear, one in the other. In essence they cancel each other out, in this instance leaving 4Hz. At such low frequencies (Delta and Theta waves), which is the rate that the brain works at, it's very calming. You should look into it nostr:nprofile1qqsqgcez8t0n3hu6y2nlkpuenf3clh2zmpph2ulqhuvug0sp8v2dvucpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ehx7um5wghxyctwvshsz8thwden5te0dehhxarj95crztnev94kj6r0dehx2tnrdakj7khlssy🥳.
I played with binaural tones a few years back… and correct, summing them in that way produces a third wave of the difference. I’m still not sure how the processing works within the brain given the left ear does not receive any signal from the right can and vice versa. Our perception of stereo is quite complex, I’d defo need to revisit some theory to get my head round it.
Binaural tones are interesting, everything living vibrates in some way.
Back when I read up on binaural tones I also read that 428Hz is a cosmic special frequency so I put a low level 428Hz sine wave through an entire EP… which then sold fuck all so I became more sceptical! 🤣
I could use some calming waves today tbh, it’s turning into a bit of a shitshow…
Yep, there's lots of harmonic frequencies, solfeggio frequencies. As you say, everything resonates at a given frequency. The book i mentioned "Stalking the Wild Pendulum" explores the nature of consciousness. There's a whole heap in it about frequencies🥳.
Nice, will investigate…
