Question: are there any specific requirements for gif profile pictures to work on Damus if they’re uploaded to nostr.build?

Had some issues were a looping .gif is showing up as a static image instead of animated… The gif separately is working correctly, can’t seem to figure out what could be the issue.

Any idea? #plebchain #gif

Mine is stuck on damus loops everywhere else, not sure why

Appears to be a difference with clients indeed. Especially Damus seems to be having some issues showing the gifs correctly. Any idea #[3]​?

Mine worked for a very short time yesterday. Weird.

If it is too large (>5mb) it will get resized which will kill the animation
