Question: are there any specific requirements for gif profile pictures to work on Damus if they’re uploaded to nostr.build?

Had some issues were a looping .gif is showing up as a static image instead of animated… The gif separately is working correctly, can’t seem to figure out what could be the issue.

Appears to be a difference with clients indeed. Especially Damus seems to be having some issues showing the gifs correctly. Any idea #[3]?

If it is too large (>5mb) it will get resized which will kill the animation

Thanks, I know. Made a few others (for other plebs) with exactly the same settings that don’t appear to work (on Damus) and can’t figure out why not :)

Can you paste one URL? If is animated in a reply it should be animated on avatar
