there is more than that, there is delegated distributed moderation via reports, mute lists, web of trust, keywords and some algos, also ip filters

we got lots going on on nostr

onboarding is still rough but the solution to that is obvious with a market of lists and algos with apps using safe defaults for new users

there will always be trade-offs. I just want everyone to get off the platforms and pick a decentralized option so that I can have one account and communicate/share with everyone. BlueSky, Nostr, etc. instead of adopting ActivityPub, everybody thinks they can do better and it's all just fractured. Ugh

yep its fractured but nostr can solve it

you want one account? one id you can use on an ebay? a twitter? a reddit? github? linkedin? or anywhere you might share share social info? this is what nostr is for
