I think that comes later in the process.
Incorporating the user from the beginning helps with everything: bugs, workarounds, dev traps, ego and even with milestones.
The user literally tells you what to do next.
You just need to listen.
It’s a delicate balance. Definitely need to have that process in place but time and resources are limited and the user’s wishes are not always what’s best for the product. Having the time to explore things no user will ever ask for is also important.
Also, sometimes what the user wants is not the idea solution.
Right. But he gives you clues to interpret and by adding your expertise you will figure it out.
