Pronoun is not the word for gender - Male/Female
Pronoun in this context is They/Them or He/Him or something.
You might want to remove gender altogether.

No it's because it being pushed by woke left. People are fined and prosecuted for not affirming someone else's chosen pronoun. For example, Teachers are fired because they need to call a boy her or a girl him.
Nostr is free speech. One cannot use government to force speech. That's why we nostr.
If people want to put it in their name have at it.
Also it's looks like data mining. It's irrelevant what gender a person is unless you plan on using that data for something.
