A common expression I’ve heard from boomers is “I want the last check I write to bounce”.

Meaning I am not planning on leaving anything for anyone, I’m going to spend it all on me and my temporary desires.

Many individual boomers are good people, but as a whole they were a bad generation, perhaps one the worst to yet exist in American life.

I like how they just have no empathy either about how much tougher it is to make it now vs when they did. My first boss was a director of IT and had a political science degree lol. If he was my age he would be a barista with that. I’m glad my parents aren’t like most boomers tho.
