Last night I stumbled across this beautiful plant. I was curious as to what it is so I did a quick search online and discovered it’s comfrey! This is growing right in the backyard. This year I’m excited to dive deep into learning how to make extracts, salves and tinctures! I welcome being pointed in the right direction towards any resources on the topic! 😊
I did an entire segment on my podcast about Comfrey.
Love comfrey. My mother would make poultice for any scrape or burn we had. Fixed in a few days. Soft side down lol!
Plus the bees just go crazy for it! You can cut it back several times a year and makes an excellent addition to the compost pile!

I watched a video about this plant and currently searching it in my area! In Germany it’s called „Beinwell“ ;)☘️ you can use the roots too to make salves
