China pushes Tarrifs to 125% one last time and says this:

Given that, at the current tariff levels, U.S. goods exported to China have no possibility of being accepted by the market, if the U.S. side continues to impose additional tariffs on Chinese goods exported to the U.S., China will ignore it.

I don’t think Trump and team correctly estimated how large and independent China has gotten.

The government may be independent but the Chinese people who actually build, ship and take risks are the ones that are getting royally effed.

Once all of those manufacturers collapse they will understand how dependent they actually are.

world minus usa thats the scale of exports of china in the world

Ever heard the term paper tiger?

This is all being done on purpose. They know that without our country outsourcing our production for cheap labor in theirs. That means we bring the production jobs back home where they belong.

Which would start a country wide restoration of cities and towns where outsourcing jobs to china caused devastation. Eliminanating the financial incentive for over greedy executives wanting to save money by exporting jobs over seas.

The USA does not need China. We were once a product manufacturing powerhouse betrayed by those with greed. The people here want good jobs and to be able to live our lives without being poor. We would rather our products be made with quality again here in the usa rather than say made in china.

This is what a lot of people just do not comprehend about trade wars. It is not about the money. It is about restoring balance economically and revitalizing the American dream.

Maybe. But I thought the conservatives are all about small government, hands off type of government.

The jobs moved out of the US because of free markets. Free markets are healthy.

The government forcing the market in a direction never had a positive impact on markets, on the contrary, it was very negative on the long run.

I agree the government needs to fix the situation, but the solution shouldn’t be by force the market in a direction.

When the market itself is being manipulated. Both by stocks and trade by many opposing forces. This is the only way to to impose an equal and opposite reaction in order to stimulate the appropriate desired responses. Passive ways of change in a trade war are not possible. Especially when there are so many people who want nothing more than our country to continue to collapse.

What do we see happening by this show of force and strength?

- Countries are scrambling to come to the negotiating table to save their own asses.

- International companies are now avoid tariffs by creating manufacturing facilities here. Which in turn is going to create rapid job growth and improve the quality of life for our citizens.

- Our biggest competitor "China" that is responsible for widespread job loss and creating products that cause many adverse health conditions is now on the defensive.

- The general population is now aware of an important factor "tariffs" which until recently was not even in our realm of mass public comprehension. Knowing that we have been taken advantage of our closest allies for decades is opening minds. Having eyes on what must be changed in order to have better fair deals to salvage our international relationships.

- There may be a period of readjustment and market turmoil, but that in itself is revealing how places like the stock market are highly manipulated. While also not being the true indicator of any companies strength. It is all controlled by news, trading bots, and insider trading. Which is being exposed in mass in real time now.

This may be uncomfortable for the normies and people who do not comprehend economics. However, this has to happen. It is the only way for us to move forward as a nation. It is either regain our strength, or break apart and become a nation that only exists in the history books.
