what measures do we have against impersonating someone on nostr? how can we verify that someone is in fact who they say they are?
I’m just going to assume that everyone is an impersonator. Unless you can actually verify who’s behind the npub, I would assume it’s not that person. I would rather live with that than implement some paid check system that can be bypassed anyway.
