None. Alcohol sucks. Smoke weed.

Buffalo soldier 😚

1. Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout

2. Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout

...

I can't think of any others

A breakfast stout??

I don't understand the question.

Di you usually drink stout for breakfast? 👀

Feel like I'm missing a trick here

It is called breakfast stout bc it is oatmeal+coffee+chocolate.

🤤🤤

Founders CBS is something to kill for.

I'm gonna try to find something similar, like the sound of a porridge stout:)

I feel like the US might have more of a selection of stouts than the UK (?) No idea cos I don't really go to specialist shops here.

Are these stouts readily available there? Or you buying online/going to particular bars?

That ones local, otherwise I have to go to the provincial monopoly

Ps I am a Canuck not a Yank

Ah sorry lol

My guess is you are correct. the micro brewery in the states will carrry a ipa, a blonde pilsner, and a stout/ ale.

In particular supermarkets tend to only carry one stout, not sure if that is some sort contractual thing with Guinness or what. Might just be a matter of popularity

But I don't really venture out into specialist shops or breweries cos £££

While not stouts. Hobgoblin & London Pride were my favourites when I was out your way

I'm not actually big in ales, but they're both massively popular here

We have only been able to get beer in super markets for ~3yrs I would say we have 3-5 stouts from the local then all national brands are 5% flavoured water

Supermarkets didn't sell beers before that??

Nope only liquor control board or the beer store. Ontario is public owned.

Out West was private, all kinds of liquor stores. I could get beer delivered at 1am.

Still blew my mind that I could get beer at the gas station in the States.

It will really depend on where you are. Larger than modest population centers will easily have this kind of stuff available. But medium-sized breweries often don't distribute everywhere in the US, due to distribution laws, logistics, volume, etc...

Peanut stout

That was fantastic. It was a gift from a Nostrich from Czech Republic.

I really need to do some stout exploring 👀

Ooh New Holland Dragons Milk is amother good one from West Michigan

It's one of my favorite milk stouts.

Any opinions on Left Hand? Their tasting room regularly makes all sorts of interesting riffs on their base Milk Stout. Barrel aged, nitrogen, Chai, Peanut Butter, etc...

I've only ever had left hand brewing's milk stout. I really enjoy their milk stout and it's one of my favorites, but I don't remember if I've had anything else.

Nitrogen??

I mean Guinness basically was the first mover on nitrogenated beers weren't they?

Not got a clue, I thought you were talking about laughing gas flavoured stout tbh

Lol what a name
