If monero was the better choice, there would be monero zapping on #nostr. No one is stopping that. And yet it doesn't exist. 🤔

Each have their uses and don't have to be mutually exclusive. Bitcoin is a good store of value and using it with lightning is ideal for zaps. Monero is good for easy and private transactions.
This exists. There’s at least one Amethyst fork called Garnet that allows Monero zaps.

There is this web client as well. Both are very new though use cautiously.
