The number of people that asked me about xrp this year is insane
Wow really? None here. A couple bitcoin questions here and there, but all anyone really wants is price calls
They really marketed that shitcoin hard on social media
What is their marketing doing correctly?
Basically telling them that theyâll make a lot of money with fact TA charts and hype about the future of money
Isnât that what all the other coins are doing? What are they doing differently?
It is but I think xrp just has more money
Just pure capital from Amex and Chase?
Iâm not sure how they get their money tbh but I know theyâve been fighting endless lawsuits.
I've had friends ask about XRP.
They always send me links to articles that have it going to $100 per coin, not realizing the market cap would be insanely unrealistic.
They also mention banks using it to transfer funds between each other. "They don't do that with Bitcoin".
Yeah itâs pretty annoying because you have to try and explain the difference between bitcoin and crypto which requires you to explain the difference between money and fiat which then requires you to explain why fiat is bad đ

The decentralized future. There will be all kinds of cryptocurrencies that people will trade in. One day payment processors will let you pick any shitcoin to pay with đ¤Ą
That's the hard part... The information gab between no coiner and Bitcoiners is getting really wide.
It really is. I sometimes talk to normies like as if they understand what inflation is. Most donât even know that itâs caused by government. I donât even know where to start with them đ
I think we sorta have to tell our âorigin storyâ. We canât start at the depths of where we are, but go back to the surface. Why did we start digging here? Why did we decided to follow the white rabbit? We just need to tell the beginning of how the fire started for us. Whatâs your âorigin storyâ?
⌠mine started when I was sitting in the middle of the ocean staring out into the sea with a bunch of my fishing buddies. And one of them asked me âwhat do you think of bitcoin?â And I realized I should have an opinion given my background and I didnât.đ
Thatâs a really good point. If Iâm going to teach others about bitcoin, it helps to explain my story. That would make it more relatable too and less intimidating since a lot of normies have fragile egos.
The easiest way I found to explain it, has been to reverse the question on them.
"What do YOU know about Bitcoin?"
I find it easier to know where they're at, then go from there.
*fancy
Most people are not interested in breaking their chains.
Most people only seek to be a little better off than their poor neighbours.
Once you understand this you understand that most people are criminals enabling the government to steal from their neighbours but without the moral implications. So they think.
Idk if Iâd call them criminals but they are enabling the government without realizing it. Ignorance isnât really an excuse but itâs not fair to fully blame them for that. It is true that a lot of people donât want to see others around them succeed though. Itâs pretty sad. People who succeed find their loved ones trying to sabotage them. People can be pretty shitty.
