Final straw. Didn't like the direction they were headed anyways and following channels that you don't check daily doesn't work well either.

If you want to spread FUD, try to do a better job.
What are your thoughts on self-hosting it?
Read their Github post about moderation. Even third-party servers will be subject to censorship, it's built-in in the app code itself.
