How do they get the Bitcoin off it?
I bought a couple and havenāt used them yetā¦also itās been over a year since I read up on them (so take this with a grain of salt) but if Iām not mistaken theyāre basically external storage that plugs into a usb port. A utxo is uploaded on to them. the signed utxo sits in external storage (offline and airgapped) waiting to be uploaded into another wallet (I think u can upload all or part of the balance/stored utxo)

A utxo isnāt āuploaded onto themā exactly, itās just a device that creates one single on-chain address and then reveals the private key when you break the thing

Should be yes. As soon as you break the thing you should sweep it into a wallet.
You CAN send multiple times to the same address and have more than one utxo on the same address, but thatās not gud 2 dew

When I first ventured into btc I thought they sounded pretty useful from a stand point of an airgapped way to store fractions of an overall stack with no watch only wallet trail to said btcā¦Iāve just never gotten around to using themš¤·š½āāļø
Still I suppose if the regulatory environment here in the states ever got bad enough itās not a bad way to completely airgap ur sats/coins with no way to be doxed through an app/watch only wallet š¤ā¦even though the utxo hx would still be on the blockchainš¤·š½āāļø
I have given a few as gifts. I imagine theyāll all end up that way or potentially buying something cash peer to peer at some point

I do but thinking about switching to a start 9 system
I do (run a node) but I still figure watch only solutions like sparrow or nunchuck (esp nunchuck if u use a phone app) are weak links to identifying/doxing utxoās even if the private keys are stored off lineā¦am I wrong on this?
Except for occasional utxo management I only transact with lightning and even then itās primarily for orange pilling frenz (giving small amounts) and then to pay said frenz when I owe them for something like a meal if they prefer btc to cash (and they almost always do).
