I think storage hasn't scaled at the speed we all thought, but its fast enough to edge out block chain growth. In time hopefully it will be easy and common enough to run a full node inside of a wallet app.

I'm just thinking that there might be millions of businesses who want to be completely sovereign & run their own financial stack.
