We could put stuff wherever there was space and we could get to and the system would just remember where stuff is.
A relay doesn't need to hold all events. It just needs to keep track of where events are.
I am pretty sure this is how most file systems work, and I think RAM, too.
I think the closest thing we have to this in Nostr is the #Gossip client, with its automatic relay shuffling.
Just looked up your definition. I was thinking of a way to offer this service, but I can't decentralize it. Was thinking a series of "proxy" servers that use delegation similar to DNS to store events across participating servers
