That’s bullshit. That would mean that quality of unconditional love could only go lower.

Perhaps I should have provided more context around this quote. He's not saying it's a permanent condition, but I'd have to post a lot more of the book to elaborate.

Otherwise, how are we standing in the gap and breaking the generational curses handed down to us.

Responsibility and self-sovereignty extends to this aspect of family life as much as it does to stacking sats and self-custody.
