Interesting. Well I’m a bitcoiner. I don’t think I need a tampon label to describe myself as such.

Announcing Bitcoin as a recognized national currency isn’t forcing people to use it. It is opt in technology. I don’t see your issue with that.

A lot of bitcoiners spoke out against Chivo deployment. I agree it was poor.

Look, I’m no Nayib simp, but calling him a dictator is laughable. I don’t know your country of origin, but he was elected by tremendous margins and holds close to a 90% approval rating. Nobody else is even close to that. He’s completely changed the identity of El Sal.

Is banning every other crypto from the country except bitcoin opt in?

Even if I believed elections were a legitimate form of consent (theyre not) why are you so quick to believe a suspect 90% approval rating? That's literally what every dictator says lol. He already revealed his iron fisted proclivities.

I thought the point of bitcoin was to seperate money and state. So who gives af what Nayib thinks or says about anything. Many Bitcoiners were immediately duped because he says what they want to hear like any politician naturally would.

If this guy designed a custodial wallet for his citizens he is either 1) an incompetent ruler who after all this time STILL doesn't understand bitcoin, or 2) has nefarious intentions.
