Running your own lnd node too? How do you do vanity names? Lnbits not working for me with lnurlnp extension
Discussion
Up until now I've been running lnd yes, but plan on switching it up to Core Lightning going forward.
In regards to vanity names, do you mean lightning addresses?
I used LNbits with a zap-only wallet which is connected to my nostdress instance. It doubles as lightning address and NIP-05 (nostr) verifier.
I'll probably keep this setup going forward.
Ah every time someone zaps my with lnbits it says no route .
So lame
I tried LNbits with lnurlp but it also didn't work for me - But I'm fairly sure it was something in my nginx config that just wasn't redirecting it properly (LNbits is very specific about reverse-proxy configs, you need to get it exactly right or it won't work).
I downloaded it and configured my .env file. How exactly are you supposed to run this? are you supposed to use it on a specific path with nginx or separate domain? I have Lnbits at wallet.poster.place
Do you mean .env for nostdress or nginx?
If you already have your website reachablez you're either already using a reverse-proxy or directing it somehow - If you're happy with it I wouldn't change it as I don't think nginx would fix this particularly.
Nevermind, I see you figured it out and got nostdress running :) Nice!
I can't zap currently but looking at the generated /.well-known/lnurlp, it seems to be correctly configured.
