I love to see you #Bluesky refugees embracing and using bitcoin. Especially when you understand the need for uncensorable money that no one can fuck with. because this is what's known as a know your customer exchange for anti-money laundering laws. you can buy bitcoin other ways without having to give up this information, but it's a bit harder to do. Robosats is completely anonymous, but it's very complicated. https://learn.robosats.com

essentially. lots of places exist to buy bitcoin without KYC information, but it's sadly a bit harder to use to do that. Bisq is another one if you have a desktop computer to run their program.
