Some people follow Nostr's best daily news account, but remain in the shadows, never interacting. They observe, ruminate in silence, and I'm fine with that. What's not fine is seeing them come out of the woodwork just to criticize. In 239 days, they've had plenty of time to say something constructive or, at the very least, to like a publication. But no, nothing.
When they announce their "unfollow" as if it's going to make me shake my head, I laugh. The more my audience grows, the less I need this negative energy.
Jealousy, that poison, is one of the worst human failings. I've been asking myself why, when I started out, everyone supported me, and now it's more and more rare? What's changed? My content is still the same: consistent quality, unrivalled frequency on Nostr. Nobody - and I mean NOBODY - keeps up this pace. 13,000 notes in 238 days, each with photos, videos and careful presentation. Who can do better?
So, what is it? Jealousy? Perhaps. Or are my publications disturbing? Domestic politics? Foreign policy? Israel? Trump? Covid? If so, it's pathetic. You're tearing each other apart to defend elites who don't care about you.
