Beautiful vintage look π
How'd you design it? How'd you move it from design into physicality?
I wrote a whole thing and somehow lost it... uugh.
Basically, I started on paper. Both drawing ideas and folding card stock.
I also had to consider the limitations of my tools. The pedal is actually small compared to market pedals. Actually awesome for women and kids though... the market caters mostly to men in the guitar world.
Anyway, I learn this by ear, so I dont have a refined or schooled process.
To embarrassing to live stream the process. π
I made 3 or 4 models, refining each time. I settled on this design and made 3 like this.
That is so awesome... I marvel at creative people's creativity.
Did you send your design to some company that has a CNC machine?
No. I have a 3' flat brake and a 12" box/pan finger brake, an electric metal shear a drill and a dremmel (for small cuts with a cutting disc). Lol.

Here's an example of my design process (I'm so crude, apologies). I had to invent my own system for this kind of work... totally unschooled. π
I found that there are several glues that will bind vinyl to steel. The trick is to wrap the steel before it's bent.
I use a scrap piece of vinyl fabric between the wrapped steel and the metal brake while bending. It stretches the vinyl nicely over the metal and comes out clean. I invented that. Lol.
