We are all nobodies… It’s not a status thing… it’s that there are some local activities planned Thursday afternoon and Friday that may not be on the official agenda. So I just wanted to make sure you knew someone who knew about those. If Tim knows you are coming, you are in good hands.

I’m picking up a few people from the airport at about that time on Thursday. Do you have a lift organised from airport to Palm Cove?

My flight gets in on Thursday at 11:30…I know people are meeting at 1:30 for something. I don’t have concrete plan for a lift to Palm cove…I know someone who’s flying in at roughly the same time as me.

I’m picking up 3 people landing at 1&1.30pm, I have 1 spare seat at this time.

Are you coming into Cairns on an international or domestic flight? If you get through airport fast enough, maybe I can fit in a 2nd run up to Palm Cove Thursday morning with you plus 1 and return to airport in time for 2nd pick up.

International. If you have room, that’d be great. Otherwise I can grab an uber or something. I’ll be sleepy having flown overnight, so I probably won’t do Thursday activities

It might be too difficult to do for US - Australia. But from personal experience I try to sync my eating times to the timezone I’m going to a day beforehand and on the flight, so no eating while it’s nighttime at my destination. (And I’ll try to get some sleep in on the plane during nighttime of my destination.) This really helps me reduce jetlag.

I’ve also read that grounding (bare feet on grass/sand/soil) helps getting your body in tune with the new timezone.

It should be no problem. Tim said he is landing at a similar time, I should be able to run you both up to Palm Cove… no problem if you are not up to anything on Thursday, everything bush bash is ‘choose your own adventure’. Join in as little or as much as you want.

I think Thursday afternoon we are just going to a local waterfall for a swim.
