When I’m ready to retire I have so many stories about the practice of law. Shit is wild.

If it was significantly socially important I would (hypothetically) but this is not that. I would never betray client confidences or privilege regardless but certain ethical rules prevent me from saying a lot of things that are mostly immaterial to the clients. Most of it is just interesting in the way the sausage gets made. For example even if something is public knowledge I have to pretend I don’t know about it if a client told me about it. More specifically I could never admit I learned about it from the client.

Speaking of (or not speaking of...😉) any more thoughts on the bitcoin inheritance plan concept you mentioned in ES?

Yes, still in dev, but for obvious reasons not for public NOSTR talks.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Let’s hear 1

To be clear I would never betray client confidences or privilege but a lot of the sausage gets made in hilarious ways. But this is still my bread and butter.

Ya I get it. I wouldn’t name any names or use any specific identifying details.

I worked on a law firm not as an attorney though but still overhead a lot of stuff and can confirm it is wild af.

We had famous retired NFL players in the office often. They were suing the league. They don’t tell you this but pro sports fuck you up for life. You end up being a vegetable pretty much.

Many such cases.

I got an inside look into how many industries operate and it’s fascinating - everything from food to fashion to sports, real estate ya name it.

Since I operate in the commercial litigation space I can confirm.
