I'm going to run everything on my linux server just because I like the pain 😅 Start9 was originally my plan but I thought it would be a good opportunity to put my software engineering skills to use in a different way and start to learn a bit more about the bitcoin stack.

My linux phone is a struggle enough at times.
Ocean is cool. I love the idea of Datum, but again being patient enough to see things operate a bit and I believe Start9 is adding some features soon to make it dummy-proof, so for the time being and potentially longer, running an Apollo II solo pool for now. Happy with it and keeping warm during this shite weather. ❄️

I'm on a GrapheneOS phone, I've never really checked out Linux phones but might be worth a look.
Yeah that makes sense. This will be my first venture into mining and I've been following nostr:npub1qtvl2em0llpnnllffhat8zltugwwz97x79gfmxfz4qk52n6zpk3qq87dze since their launch and believe they have the best interests of the network in mind. I want to do my small part in securing and decentralizing the network. I definitely want to look into mining for heat at some point too.
Linux phone is awful and not worth your time or effort. It basically supports nothing. If you want an actual usable phone, stick with GrapheneOS.
Do not throw a (linux) PinePhone in your own rubbish bin, it may well start a fire.
The Linux mobile ecosystem software is actually stable and mature, but hardware is the pain point. Most linux phone startups seem to lack experience at every level.
