I would like to say that I share in your ultimate goal: a civilization that works for everyone. However, I’ve become less sure that it’s possible to achieve. Today, people have VERY difference perspectives on what civilization should look like. This isn’t just an American red vs. blue issue. A global example is Sharia law vs. Western law, which offer very different perspectives on what a ‘good civilization’ means.
You’ll get no resistance from me on holding a diversified portfolio that includes US equities. Row your own boat. It’s up to each investor to determine their own risk tolerances and outlooks. Maxis who demand 100% allocation to Bitcoin for themselves and others are zealots, not investors, and mostly do not yet have enough life experience with regards to liquidity preferences on various time horizons, financial engineering, capital management, or reserve assets, in general.
