Finally someone else who understands. F*ck Adobe. 💯

early cancellation fee... as if you signed a contract with them?

Perhaps it was in the Terms of Service he accepted when he signed up to use the product. I hate those.

Jeff move to Affinity Photo + Design + Publisher + DaVinci Resolve! And fuck off Adobe! I did it 3 years ago!

That's what I'm doing, you need to remap your muscle memory and accept some little pain, but it's worth it.

Totally! Let’s just hope that Canva does not fuck up the Affinity Suite with some Adobe style stuff…

this has been my setup as well

I never understood why large established entities adopt such a looser strategy when (customer_acquisition_cost / lame_legalese_scamming) > 10. When the feedback loop finally closes in on them, it is going to be too late.

Cancel your credit card

You could have went FOSS from the start. Hell you could have gone monthly if that was an option. You made a bad purchase, reneged on the transaction agreement, and...it's all their fault?

Man up. Pay up. Move on.

grabbing bs fees is happening across mult. areas

I hate them

They are the worst. Not to mention the absurd complex of apps that connect everywhere, sending unknown data.

Scum squared.

This is the only way to show them pain.

Mass-exit from Adobe would be beautiful to see.

Same happened to me!

They should be sued.

Will never use them again.

If this isn't a clear indicator that this is not a free market, I don't m ow what can be.

Imagine if they hadn't this much share of market and pulling a stunt like this, they would be bankrupt within a week

Used to do some motion graphics stuff and of the reasons I stopped was literally because of Adobe. Absolute dog shit company

That’s so shady

Rough. It’s giving Apple vibes

You should look into Affinity Suite. One time payment. Been using their suite as a replacement for Photoshop and InDesign for years now.

What services did you use from them?

And what a scam…

I'm very glad I never used it, knowing the roofie you Adobe users were given.
