I've never owned any shitcoins at all. None. Zero. I have no interest after listening to everyone here on Nostr. Am I missing out on anything?

Ha, I've listed over 4k to shit coins. Biggest loss was from safemoon. Been off the shit coins for over a year and a half. About to ditch my gold and silver today possibly.
I sold my Silver a few of weeks ago 🤙 it felt great converting that money to #bitcoin
Luck bastard 😁
On a serious note I’m happy to hear you managed to stay out of shitcoins by listening to people who actually care about something other then enriching themselves. Kudos!
This sentiment is a large part of what keeps me on Nostr. People here seem to care about enriching the world, as well as themselves. 💜🫂🤙 Shitcoiners are just looking for a greater fool.
Lol. Former shitcoiner here! 👋 As ironic as it may sound, Dogecoin is the reason why I was able to buy my first whole bitcoin. 😅 Keep in mind that I am NOT promoting shitcoins!
I hope I'll get to a full Bitcoin someday. Current pace has me at about 4 years, the halving may mess with that a bit 😂
Monero has interesting privacy aspects that can be combined with $BTC but otherwise, no you are doing it right. You are the exception to Junteths statement “you gotta shitcoin before you Bitcoin” I followed this trend to my own financial loss.
And no, you aren't missing anything
You missing out the casino experience 🤣
Luckily I'm no gambler! My addictive tendencies are focused on caffeine and THC.
There are four products I use because I like them that happen to pay out internal tokens:
Odysee for video content https://odysee.com/$/invite/@Undisciplined:a
Minds for social media posts https://www.minds.com/?referrer=undisciplined
Presearch search engine https://presearch.com/signup?rid=3936829
Slice for monetizing web ads https://addslice.com/?crew=qjPBx
I certainly wouldn't say you're missing out on owning these coins, but you might be missing out on the associated services that would cause you to own these coins.
You’re covered.
My biggest “concern” is the KYC Bitcoin I got years ago, I wasn’t aware of the risks back then. Not a show stopper though.
Non-KYC Bitcoin is the ideal way to go IMO.
The only other coin I’m inclined to is Monero, just because I sympathize with the ethos and the fact that I can mine it with CPU. Still proof of work.
For me, anything else is a bigger risk.
I didn’t buy any btc until recently and never any alts. I think it’s just a personality thing. If I bought btc earlier would probably have also bought 💩, but I would also have more btc today.
Wow I’m jealous. Almost everyone shitcoins to begin.
And no, you’re not missing anything. The game is to scam or be scammed.
Superior and simple privacy. Fungibility. Cheaper/faster txs (without the trade-offs and hastle of *sovereign* LN).
If you believe Monero will not make significant gains, or think it will go to zero:
Only have small amounts in reserve. Don't hodl large amounts long term. Use it. Best of both worlds.
imo, so far:
Monero is a better MoE.
Bitcoin is a better SoV.
